Hederosgruppen - Ståplats

The second album from Hederosgruppen contains music from all members of the band. Tender psalms and folksy pop mix with Somalian grooves, strict bossa and unexpected bebop. The album was the first ever to win the Manifest prize the “Gyllene skivan” prize AND a Swedish Grammy, all three for best jazzalbum of the year 2022.

Hederosgruppen was formed in 2018 by pianist Martin Hederos, a unique voice in Swedish music, who seems to move freely between genres and collaborations. Pianist Martin Hederos is a member of Tonbruket, former EST bassist Dan Berglunds band. He has now gathered some of Sweden’s most renowned and singular musicians around him, and the band soon became a collaborative project, where all of the band members contribute with their compositions and their individual expression.
